红寺堡产区位于宁夏贺兰山东麓葡萄酒产区保护范围的最南端。土壤为淡灰钙土，粉粒比例高，砂粒和黏粒含量较少。土壤毛管空隙较多，保水保肥能力较强。

This region is in the southernmost of Ningxia wine region area. The soil is light sierozem with high proportion of silt and less content of sand and clay. Soil capillary space is more. The ability of water and fertilizer conservation is stronger.
