银川产区是宁夏最早集中发展精品酒庄的产区。靠近山脚的土壤类型为沙石土壤，砾石含量高，开发时需要大面积筛土和改良土壤。
Yinchuan region is the earliest wine region with premium wineries in Ningxia. The soil type which closes to Helan Mountain is sand soil and the content of gravel is high. It needs large areas of sifting and soil improvement when develops.

永宁玉泉营是宁夏葡萄酒产业的发源地，产区呈东西分布。西部靠近贺兰山脚下的区域为砾石土壤，东部为风沙土壤。产区以大型酒庄为主，酒庄规模、产量都比较大。
This region is the place where Ningxia wine industry originated. The region distributed as east west. The western area where closes to the foot of Helan Mountain is gravel soil, and the eastern area is sandy soil. This region mainly has bigger wineries with large size and production.

贺兰产区位于贺兰山苏峪口北侧，为贺兰山洪积扇地貌。土壤类型为重砾石及沙石土壤，越靠近山脚，砾石越大，越多。
This region is located in the north of Suyukou mountain with alluvial landforms. Soil types are heavy gravel and sand soil. The closer the soil is to the Helan Mountain, the more and bigger the gravel is.

This region is located in the end of Helan Mountain which mainly is sierozem with rich minerals and high microelement. Soil contains more sand and the permeability is good.

This region is in the southernmost of Ningxia wine region area. The soil is light sierozem with high proportion of silt and less content of sand and clay. Soil capillary space is more. The ability of water and fertilizer conservation is stronger.

This region is in the northernmost of Ningxia wine region area. It’s not developed totally at present. The vineyards are all near the foot of Helan Mountain. Soil types are heavy gravel and sandy soils.
中卫产区位于宁夏回族自治区中西部，具有典型的大陆性季风气候和沙漠气候的特点。
Zhongwei wine region is located in the middle west of Ningxia province, which has typical continental monsoon climate and desert climate.
